PRP Facials
The blood contains plasma, red and white blood cells, and platelets. You need platelets to clot your blood and produce growth factors that promote healing. A portion of your blood platelets is used in PRP facial rejuvenation to help heal and rejuvenate your skin.
At ZI BLOOM Aesthetics, we refer to PRP as “Liquid Gold” because it’s a proven way to generate the growth of new cells in the body. Blood is drawn from the patient, processed, and then used for treatment. The amazing benefits of PRP include stimulating hair growth, reducing scarring, promoting collagen production, and much more.
PRP is derived from blood. In your blood, platelets circulate and contribute to your body’s ability to clot. Several factors found in plasma and platelets are essential for cell recruitment, multiplication, and specialization.
To stimulate cell growth within the body, Platelet Rich Plasma is a perfect choice. It’s used to treat patients after their blood has been drawn and processed. The benefits of PRP include stimulating hair growth, minimizing the appearance of scarring, promoting collagen production in the body, and much more.
When you come to the office for your PRP Facial, a small blood sample will be drawn, and then a centrifuge will separate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the blood. Platelets are concentrated many times higher than they would typically be. Then they’ll use the SkinPen to microneedle platelet-rich plasma on the desired areas of improvement.
